Jigsaw is an amazing charity that supports the whole family of children with additional needs.

These sessions are amazing! The whole family can come and enjoy all that the safe micro woodland has to offer! Everyone that comes has shared experiences of having someone that is neurodiverse in their family, making it easy to make good friends. The wonderful Ceri will be here to help support and guide you at most of the sessions (if not one of the other wonderful jigsaw crew) if you need it. I’m here to listen and support you in any way I can with woodland skills.

We start with a song which includes the safety instructions. The seasonal crafts are introduced but you don’t have to do them if you don’t want to. If you want to spend the whole time making potions in the mud kitchen, on the swing or hammock, chatting or cooking foraged food around the fire, whilst chatting to your friends, you can.

Like one craft and want to develop those skills? Then you can! With lots of tools available and taught in a safe supportive way you can create what you would like to or simply whittle, chat by the fire or even axe wood.
